Angel has been a member of the Edgewood Foundation for more than 14 years. She’s dedicated herself to the foundation in various roles; former Secretary, President and, most recently, Vice President. Angel loves Edgewood because of the close-knit sense of community.

Jessica Ferringer

Jessica moved to Edgewood in 2025 with her husband Terry and their daughter. After being impressed by the welcoming nature of the Foundation’s events—particularly the Newcomers' Reception and the Progressive Dinner—she felt inspired to join the Board to help deepen her roots and give back to her new home. Jessica and her family are frequent visitors to the C.C. Mellor Memorial Library and Frick Park, and they enjoy spending their weekends exploring the neighborhood's many local businesses.

Dan mooney

Dan and his wife first moved to Edgewood in 2014 and instantly fell in love with the community events, friendly neighbors, and walkability of the area. After moving away for a job in 2017, they returned to Pittsburgh in 2021 and decided that Edgewood was the perfect place to raise their young children. Learning more about the Edgewood Foundation at the Newcomers Reception prompted Dan to inquire about board positions and was pleased to be accepted in late 2023. He works at GNC’s corporate office and loves anything outdoors and woodworking.

AMY ANDREWS-HOOKS

Amy attended her first Progressive Dinner in 1999, where she fell in love with the neighborhood. Impressed with the work of the Edgewood Foundation, Amy began volunteering, starting on the Progressive Dinner committee in 2003, becoming a full-time board member in 2004 and progressing to Foundation President in 2008, a position she held until 2019. Amy was presented with the prestigious Limpert Award for outstanding dedication to the community in 2019. Amy returned to the Edgewood Foundation as a board member in August of 2022.

aNNa Marie caulkins

Anna Marie, her husband Alan and daughter Christina moved to Edgewood in 2003. They immediately felt a strong sense of community attending both the Newcomers Reception and Progressive Dinner. Anna Marie has made lasting and meaningful relationships in the community and loves the sense of caring everyone has for one another. Over the years, she has actively volunteered and participated in many community events. Recently retirement from caregiving and teaching has provided the opportunity to serve in a more formal role on the Edgewood Foundation to enhance the close knit community we have.

stuart cohen

Stuart is a relative newcomer to Edgewood, moving into the borough four years ago when he married his wife, Jennifer Parsons. His wife has been in Edgewood for over 20 years, but Stuart isn’t a stranger to the Eastern Suburbs as he graduated from Churchill High School of the Woodland Hills School District.

Stuart has been active in other non-profit organizations and really felt at home in Edgewood after attending his first Progressive Dinner in 2020 with Jennifer, finding the people of Edgewood to be so friendly and inviting. He has assisted the Wine and Chocolate committee. The Oktoberfest Pig Roast is another favorite event of his.

amy hunt

A native of Edgewood, Amy has a resounding appreciation for the neighborhood’s historical and natural beauty. She can often be found walking her dog on the area trails, enjoying the company of friends at The Edgewood Club, or cheering on soccer players at Koenig Field. With a background in education and as the founder of SORT, a professional organization, home staging and design business, Amy especially looks forward to supporting both community initiatives and events as a member of the Edgewood Foundation board.

aNDREA MaUe

A resident of Edgewood for over 20 years, Andrea joined the Edgewood Foundation in 2017. She enjoys helping with all of the activities and has headed up the Senior Brunch since 2018. It’s been so great being able to help keep our community vibrant! Andrea is an English teacher and happily married to Don.

Bayh Sullivan

Bayh moved to Edgewood in 2022 with her husband, Matt, and their two children. Drawn to the neighborhood’s welcoming feel and strong sense of community, her family quickly made a tradition of attending Edgewood Foundation events, especially Community Day, Oktoberfest, Fall Festival, and Light Up Edgewood.

With deep appreciation for the role these gatherings play in bringing neighbors together, Bayh joined the Foundation to help sustain and strengthen opportunities for connection, particularly for those who are new to the neighborhood or newly engaging with the community. Around Edgewood, she and her family can often be found at Koenig Field, the Edgewood Club, Rescue & Relax, Spigolo, or practicing bike riding in the parking lot at Edgewood Elementary STEAM Academy.
